Ariane Colenbrander, Principal/Creative Director
Ariane Colenbrander MGDC graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from California State University, Northridge and continued her education with Design and Typography courses at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. With work experience in the health and wellness, computer software and advertising industries, she founded Ahead of Full Steam Productions in San Francisco in 1990. Her talent was widely used in marketing campaigns for Sperling Sampson West, Levi’s San Francisco, Vehicle SF, Fetzer Vineyards and the San Francisco and Amsterdam offices of Anderson + Lembke. In 1997, she brought the Ahead of Full Steam brand overseas to Western Europe, focusing on web concept and design for both mid-sized advertising agencies and Atos Origin, a worldwide IT service provider.
Since 2005 she has been working in Vancouver, BC, as founder and principal of ariane c design. Her background and skills are extensive and cover a wide range of industries and work environments. She has worked in four creative markets to date, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, The Netherlands and Vancouver, British Columbia.
